On Tank Forces Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with tank crews and presented them with state awards.
“I want to thank you for your service and for all these difficult days of the full-scale war. From the very first days, you have always defended our country. Thank you, and thank you to your brothers-in-arms,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President separately thanked the families and loved ones of the tank crews, who always support them.
“By motivating you, they strengthen the Tank Forces, boost the morale of our warriors, and enable you to focus on the country and defend it every day,” he noted.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the warriors with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, III class, and the Order “For Courage,” I, II, and III classes. Among those honored were tank crews who distinguished themselves during the Kyiv and Kharkiv operations, in battles in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, and who took part in the Kursk operation. Serving as part of tank crews, the warriors destroyed Russian occupiers and equipment while under enemy fire and FPV drone attacks.
