On August 7, the picturesque Carpathians became the place where rest, adventure, and an introduction to the world of professions came together. Head of the Service Delivery Organization Department of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, Olena Redko, and career guidance specialist Viktoriia Karpenko held an interactive event, “Level UP! Choose Who You Want to Be!”, for children at the “Pearl of Donetsk Region” children's health and recreation complex.
This was not an ordinary lecture, but a true journey into the future. The children enthusiastically immersed themselves in the fascinating world of professions, learning about in-demand fields in today’s labor market and why it is important to choose a career that matches one’s own interests and talents.
A special highlight was the express career guidance test: each participant received the first “clues” about their strengths and possible areas for growth. This sparked lively discussions and genuine interest in various fields of activity.
The young participants learned the difference between a job and a calling, and even peeked into the world of future professions — new specialties gaining popularity in the fields of technology, innovation, and creative industries.
The friendly atmosphere, playful format, and interaction with professionals helped the children see that choosing a profession is not a complicated or boring process, but an exciting journey toward themselves and their dreams.
Specialists from the Employment Center are confident: this experience will inspire children to boldly explore their abilities, try new things, and develop career plans that will help them realize their potential in the future.
