The specialized room was opened in one of the medical rehabilitation centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Some of the medical equipment that helps colleagues recover from their injuries was purchased by the Donetsk Regional Trade Union of Certified Police Officers.
Many police officers who were wounded in combat with the enemy need long-term rehabilitation. The new gym has everything they need to learn to walk again, restore limb function, and strengthen muscles: modern exercise equipment and bi-blades to restore motor skills.
"It is our duty to provide proper conditions for our colleagues to recover from their injuries. That's why we joined in equipping the rehabilitation center. It is important for us that our colleagues, who paid a high price for the defense of Ukraine, can return to their normal lives as soon as possible," said Andriy Karanda, head of the Donetsk Regional Trade Union of Certified Police Officers.
