Starting from January 1, 2026, new subsistence minimum indicators will come into force in Ukraine. As a result, pensions, family benefits, and other social payments will automatically increase.
🔺 What exactly will change?
📈 Overall subsistence minimum — UAH 3,209
(+ UAH 289 compared to 2025).
🧍♀️ Subsistence minimum for children:
👉 under 6 years old — UAH 2,817;
👉 from 6 to 18 years old — UAH 3,512.
🙎♂️ Subsistence minimum for adults:
👉 working-age persons — UAH 3,328;
👉 pensioners and persons who have lost working capacity — UAH 2,595.
📌 An increase in the subsistence minimum also means higher payments that depend on this indicator:
✅ minimum pension;
✅ amounts of social assistance (for low-income families, childbirth benefits, etc.).
🔉 The new subsistence minimum for working-age citizens will also affect the calculation of the maximum base for the unified social contribution (USC).
