One of the women is being evacuated after losing her husband, who was killed by an enemy drone. This time, along with the residents, the police took three cats and a parrot with them.
Life in Druzhkivka is becoming more terrifying with each passing day. The enemy attacks the city around the clock with guided bombs and drones. In search of a safer place, people are moving from high-rise buildings to the private sector, but they find no shelter there either—the Russians are destroying houses and wiping out entire streets. As a result, evacuation requests are coming in to the police every day.
To evacuate as many people as possible, police officers carry out several evacuation trips a day. This time, the “White Angels” evacuated two families and two women.
“There’s no electricity, gas, or water in the city. We go to the ‘Point of Resilience’ to contact our loved ones. To let them know we’re alive,” says a local resident on the way.
For one of the rescued women, the reason for the evacuation was the death of her husband: “He was riding his bike when a drone crashed nearby. He was fatally wounded by debris. It’s hard to live here without him, so it’s time to leave.” The woman took three cats with her.
