I sincerely congratulate you on Independence Day of Ukraine!
Here in Donetsk Oblast, where freedom is tested by fire every day, we know the true price of Independence. It is not on the calendar—it is in the courage of the people, the resilience of the communities, and in everyone who stands, works, rescues, fights, and holds their front.
Donetsk Oblast is a region that has not submitted. A region that has become a shield. A region that proves: Ukraine is invincible.
Today, we speak of Independence as a strength that lives within each of us. Of a will that cannot be broken. Of a state that stands and will stand, for it is sustained by millions of strong, worthy, free people.
Let this day be a reminder: we are a people who do not retreat.
We are a region that fights!
