Where others stop, you take a step forward.
To everyone who dedicates their strength to saving others — my sincere congratulations on Rescuer’s Day!
Thank you to those who are the first to step into smoke and dust after strikes, who extinguish fires, clear rubble, demine yards and fields, evacuate people, and deliver water to communities. Firefighters, sappers, dog handlers, divers, dispatchers, medics, and psychologists of the State Emergency Service — you bring life back to our cities.
My gratitude also goes to all those who stand beside you voluntarily: volunteers, emergency crews, volunteer medics, search teams, and those who arrive with generators, tools, and warm hands. Your support is also a form of rescue.
I wish you calm shifts, reliable equipment, steady communication, and safe returns from every mission.
Donetsk region sees your daily work and is sincerely grateful for it.
Happy holiday!
