When communications work flawlessly, they often go almost unnoticed. In wartime, however, this “invisibility” represents an enormous amount of work that determines troop command and control, coordination between units, and people’s safety.
I congratulate the soldiers of the Signals and Cybersecurity Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday!
You provide what a modern army cannot operate without: reliable information exchange even under shelling, secure communication channels, and defense against the enemy in cyberspace. Russia tries to jam, hack, and intercept communications — while every day you make sure that Ukrainian units remain connected and are able to carry out their combat missions.
Thank you to everyone who installs, restores, and protects our communications wherever just a few seconds can make all the difference.
I wish you resilience, reliable equipment, a stable signal, and as many successful operations as possible.
Happy holiday! Glory to Ukraine!
