Every city over which the Ukrainian flag flies knows: this is the achievement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For Donetsk region, your shoulder patches mean the difference between occupation and life, between the enemy’s tricolour and our blue-and-yellow flag. Here, people know especially well: every day without the “Russian world” is paid for by your work, your risk, your pain.
I thank everyone who is now on the frontlines, in dugouts, on combat duty; those who were at “zero” yesterday and are briefly on leave today; and the families who wait and believe. We must be worthy of your courage — hold the rear, work, help, refuse to become accustomed to war, and never lower the bar of expectations for ourselves and the state.
Let us protect our soldiers. Let us do everything so they return alive — and with victory.
Happy Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
