For rescue workers in the Donetsk region, psychologists from the State Emergency Service organized a session on emotional relief, during which interaction with horses played an important role.
Interacting with the animals helped the participants shift their focus, take their minds off their daily worries, reduce emotional tension, and feel a sense of calm.
Such sessions provide an opportunity to pause for a moment, recharge, and take care of one’s mental well-being.
The session was held as part of the “Psychological Practices Center” project and the nationwide “How Are You?” program.
