Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine paid a working visit to Donetsk region.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Yuriy Klyuchka, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of pressing issues, including organizational aspects of cooperation, ensuring stable communication during blackouts, implementation of state digital programs in the region, and the functioning of mobile operators and Internet providers in the region.
The main purpose of the visit was to study the actual state of implementation of state policies in the field of digital development and electronic services in the frontline regions, taking into account security challenges and constant shelling.
It was noted that a special working group has been set up under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine to analyze the current state of affairs, the causes of problems in the digital development of frontline territories, and to assess the stability of communications and the level of mobile and fixed-line coverage.
Based on the results of the visit, proposals were developed to further strengthen the digital resilience of the region and ensure uninterrupted access to communications and government e-services for residents of Donetsk Oblast.
