As part of the nationwide project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," we continue to cooperate in evacuating elderly people who have been left alone in the realities of the current war.
A grandmother from the Chasovoyarska community was brought to the Veterans' House of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Uman City Council.
Another elderly person from the Chasovoyarsk community is now temporarily living in the Veterans' Home. Ensuring comfortable conditions and proper care for them has become one of the priorities of the partnership.
The Chasovoyarska community expresses its sincere gratitude to the Uman community, where the elderly received not only a roof over their heads, but also comfort, care and human warmth, which is more valuable than anything today.
The project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" proves once again that the strength of the Ukrainian people lies in unity, mutual respect and joint work. Together we will overcome all difficulties and build a strong, free and prosperous Ukraine!
