The non-governmental organization “European Democratic Youth Network of Ukraine,” in partnership with the Youth Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, is implementing the “Start in Diplomacy” program for Ukrainian youth — a hybrid educational and practical program for young people aged 19–25, aimed at strengthening their participation in Ukraine’s democratic and foreign policy processes. The project combines an open competitive selection process, a two-month online course on diplomacy, a two-day in-person training session in Kyiv, and a one-month internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The project aims to develop the human resource potential of young people in the fields of international relations, public diplomacy, and public administration, and is implemented with grant support from the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House.
The project’s target audience consists of young people aged 19–25 from various regions of Ukraine, specifically third- and fourth-year undergraduate students, first-year graduate students, and graduates with degrees in international relations, law, political science, public administration, and journalism, as well as other active young people, especially those with experience studying or living abroad, who are interested in diplomacy, international relations, or public service, and who view a career in Ukraine as their professional path.
