From July 5 to 7, young participants of the Hero of Ukraine Oleg Adamovskyi kuren together with their teacher Viktor Pankov joined the “Warm Podillya” Resilience Retreat, which brought together young people from different parts of Ukraine.
For three days, the participants had the opportunity to relax, restore emotional resources, find new friends and get unforgettable impressions during a rafting trip on the Dniester. The event was a great opportunity not only for active leisure, but also for strengthening internal resilience, developing team interaction and discovering picturesque corners of Ukraine.
The route of the trip ran through picturesque places of the Ternopil region. Participants admired the views of Khreshchatyk, Zalishchyky, Gorodok, Synkov and Kolodribka, visited the Verteba cave, examined the ruins of the Chervonohorod castle and visited the Dzhuryn waterfall. The evenings by the campfire were especially fondly remembered, as they became a time of sincere communication, new acquaintances and friendly support.
The retreat became a space for psychological recovery, mutual understanding and unity. Joint trials, teamwork during rafting and lively communication helped children feel each other's support, strengthen self-confidence and create memories that will inspire them in the future.
Such initiatives are of particular importance for children and young people of the Donetsk region, who are growing up in conditions of full-scale war. They contribute to emotional recovery, give a sense of security, support and remind us that Ukraine is a country of incredible nature, strong people and new opportunities.
