Over the past week, the “PHOENIX” evacuation team—which includes a community rescue officer—carried out operations at 59 locations in settlements across the Kramatorsk district and helped 15 people evacuate. Eleven residents were evacuated from the Kramatorsk community, including five children. Four more people were helped to leave the Svyatogorsk community, three of whom have limited mobility.
Behind every evacuated person is a unique story and the difficult decision to leave their home for safety. At this moment, “PHOENIX” rescuers are standing by to help people navigate the dangerous journey and reach safer regions.
The evacuation is ongoing. Rescuers are on the ground where help is needed most.
