The third (All-Ukrainian) stage of the All-Ukrainian military-patriotic game for children and youth, “Sokil” (“Dzhura”), for the younger age group has concluded in Zakarpattia. For the youngest participants, the finals took place in a training, educational, and game-based format, combining learning, active recreation, teamwork, and an introduction to Ukrainian traditions.
The Donetsk region was represented at the All-Ukrainian level by the “New Generation” squad from the Kurakhiv “Prestige” Academic Lyceum of the Kurakhiv City Council in the Donetsk region. The young Dzhuras demonstrated strong unity, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
As a result of their participation, the children were awarded certificates for their Cossack spirit, unity, and preservation of Ukrainian chivalric traditions. The team received a special award for creating an atmosphere of unity and evoking vivid emotions during the creative and artistic performance “Vatra,” which served as a platform for the young participants to showcase their creativity, individuality, and team unity.
For the children, the finals served as a space for challenges, learning, and making new friends. During campfires, gatherings, sports games, and various activities, the young participants interacted with peers from different parts of Ukraine, made friends, shared their experiences, and learned to work together.
The team’s success was the result of the joint efforts of the children and their mentors. For their active civic engagement, initiative, and assistance in organizing the third stage of the final camp sessions, troop leaders Yulia Bondar and Natalia Zaporozhchenko received awards.
We congratulate the “New Generation” troop and its mentors on their outstanding representation of the Donetsk region at the national level and wish them new discoveries, memorable encounters, and further victories.
