The community center in Sheptytske was filled with a festive atmosphere when adults and children from Donetsk Oblast, who are temporarily staying in the Sheptytske community, became spectators of the play "A Christmas Story."
The event was part of the Side by Side: United Communities initiative, which aims to support outpost communities and provide assistance to displaced families. Thanks to this program, ten families from our region were able to attend the performance free of charge and take part in the artistic event.
The coordination and support of the families was carried out by the head of the humanitarian hub "Yednannia" Dmytro Shynkar, who noted:
"The most important thing is to give people, especially children, a sense of peace and joy, even if they are temporarily far from home. Such events help support families in difficult times."
Watching the performance gave participants the opportunity to experience positive emotions and new impressions. The event helped bring IDP families together, fostered mutual understanding, and created a sense of unity.
