December 25—Christmas—is a time when the world is filled with light, hearts are warmed with love, and true Christmas magic is in the air.
On the eve of this magical holiday, the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity invited the young residents of Donetsk region to a fairy-tale event — the regional video challenge "Donetsk region carols!". More than 1,000 children gathered in a joint Christmas circle to give the world the warmth of their hearts.
The screens resounded with ringing carols, theatrical Christmas stories came to life, and the melody of Mykola Leontovych's world-famous "Shchedryk" shone like a Christmas star over the whole of Ukraine. This song is a true symbol of our culture, uniting the hearts of people in different corners of the world.
In their performances, the children sincerely wished every Ukrainian family peace, prosperity, love, and harmony, and our defenders — strength of spirit, good health, and God's blessing.
