Starting in early 2026, Ukraine has increased the amount of compensation for employers who adapt workplaces for people with disabilities. This is an important step toward creating an accessible labor market and ensuring the real integration of people with disabilities into professional life.
Compensation amounts:
UAH 86,470 (10 minimum wages) — for employing a person with a Group II disability;
UAH 129,705 (15 minimum wages) — for employing a person with a Group I disability.
What costs are reimbursed to employers?
Under the program, the state compensates expenses for purchasing special equipment and tools necessary for comfortable and safe work, including:
furniture, handrails, and support bars;
assistive devices for cursor positioning;
tactile computer displays;
Braille keyboards and portable devices;
lifting platforms for workplace adaptation and other specialized equipment.
For employers, this is an opportunity not only to receive financial support but also to attract a motivated employee, strengthen the team, and contribute to corporate social responsibility.
For people with disabilities, it is a chance to realize their professional potential, work in dignified conditions, and be part of a working team.
If you are an employer planning to create or adapt a workplace, contact the employment service. Specialists will provide consultations and support at all stages of participation in the program.
