Before the full-scale war began, Oleksandr Parkhomenko lived in Druzhkivka, worked in his profession, and built his future in his hometown. By education, he is a welding technician-technologist and has many years of experience as a maintenance fitter, electric and gas welder, and tool sharpener. Thanks to his professional skills and responsible attitude to work, he was always a sought-after specialist.
The war forced him to leave his home, job, and familiar life behind. Along with the forced relocation came uncertainty and the need to start from scratch. Seeking new opportunities to realize his professional potential, Oleksandr turned to the employment service.
With the support of a career counselor, he was able to effectively present himself on the labor market. After analyzing his experience and adapting his resume, specialists invited him to a presentation event with SE “Lamella.” As a result, Oleksandr received a job that matched his qualifications and health condition. An additional benefit from the employer was the provision of housing for the internally displaced person.
Today, he works at a furniture factory as an assembler of wooden products, has become part of the workforce, and once again feels confident about the future.
