The national project "Side by Side: United Communities" has become a real bridge of unity between the east and west of our country. Thanks to this project, the communities of Chasovoyarsk and Yasinya have joined forces in fruitful cooperation for the sake of the most valuable thing — people.
The family of a defender who gave his life for Ukraine's independence and freedom had the opportunity to undergo rehabilitation and enjoy a week of rest at the "Fight of the Unbreakable 7.0" camp in the heart of the Carpathians — in Dragobrat.
It was a time without sirens and alarms. A time of silence, healing, sincere communication, warmth, and mutual support. A time when the pain becomes a little quieter and the heart a little lighter.
During these days, the program participants:
- immersed themselves in the traditions and culture of Hutsulshchyna through educational excursions;
- welcomed the dawn and watched the sun set over the horizon, admiring the majestic Carpathian landscapes;
- went on a mountain hike to the high-altitude lake Svidovets;
- rode horses;
- participated in numerous creative and educational workshops;
- recharged their batteries in vats and saunas;
- spent a lot of time outdoors, playing games, participating in exercises, and simply allowing themselves to breathe deeply.
For families who have lost their loved ones, such moments are not just a vacation.
It is an opportunity to take a break from unspeakable pain, at least for a short time, and to feel genuine care, human warmth, and support. It is a reminder that they are not alone. That they are remembered. That their pain is shared.
💙💛 Sincere gratitude to everyone who joined and supported.
