At the Donetsk Regional Social Center for Mothers and Children, a public facility currently housing women with children and families who were forced to leave their homes due to the war, efforts are underway to create comfortable and safe living conditions.

Large-scale renovation work is currently nearing completion at the facility, which will expand the capacity to provide social support to those who need it most.

Nadiya Serdyukova, head of the Myrne Town Military Administration, recently visited the center. During the visit, humanitarian aid was delivered to the center’s residents, including children’s clothing, baby food, diapers, feminine hygiene products, thermometers, toothbrushes, dishes, soap, antiseptics, food, as well as children’s books and toys.

The aid was provided through cooperation with the non-governmental organization “Daruy Dobro Ukraine” with the support of international partners from the United Kingdom and Germany.

The Department of Family, Youth, and Public Events for National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration extends its sincere gratitude to all partners who have joined this important cause.

Thanks to these joint efforts, the center will continue to provide support to women with children, pregnant women, and families in the Donetsk region who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. Such assistance is a vital contribution to ensuring adequate living conditions and expanding social services for internally displaced persons and vulnerable groups.

Together, we support those who need help the most. Together, we work for the people and the future of Donetsk Oblast.
