Amounts of the One-Time Monetary Payment for Ukraine's Independence Day in 2026

The state provides support to citizens with special labor merits to the Motherland, war veterans, and individuals working under special conditions.

In 2026, payments for Ukraine's Independence Day are established in the following amounts*:

🔷 Persons with special merits to the Motherland – 3,100 UAH;

🔶 Persons with disabilities resulting from war and former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention recognized as persons with disabilities:

🔹 Group I – 3,100 UAH;

🔸 Group II – 2,900 UAH;

🔹 Group III – 2,700 UAH;

🔶 Combatants, affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity, and former juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, as well as children born in the specified places of forced detention of their parents – 1,000 UAH;

🔷 Family members of deceased (killed) war veterans whose status is established in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection," family members of deceased (killed) Defenders of Ukraine, surviving spouses of deceased persons with disabilities resulting from war who have not remarried, and surviving spouses of deceased combatants, war participants, and victims of Nazi persecutions recognized as disabled during their lifetime who have not remarried – 650 UAH;

🔶 War participants and former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, persons forcibly deported for forced labor, children of partisans, underground fighters, and other participants in the struggle against the National Socialist regime behind enemy lines – 450 UAH.

The procedure for providing the one-time monetary payment for Ukraine's Independence Day was approved by Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1396 dated December 27, 2023, "Certain Issues of Social Protection of Persons with Special Labor Merits to the Motherland, War Veterans, and Persons Working Under Special Conditions."
