To mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the Onokivka and Siverska communities joined forces to participate in events in support of Ukraine’s defenders.
Oleksiy Vorobyov, head of the Siverska City Military Administration, congratulated the legendary units that stand as an unshakable shield in defense of their homeland:
- 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa
- 427th Separate “Rarog” Unmanned Systems Brigade
- 81st Separate Slobozhansky Airborne Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Oleksiy Vorobyov expressed his deep gratitude to the soldiers for their daily heroism, unbreakable resilience, and devotion to the Motherland, emphasizing that it is precisely thanks to their heroic deeds that Ukraine has been, is, and will remain free.
Thanks to close and sincere cooperation within the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” between the Siverska community in Donetsk Oblast and the Onokivska community in Zakarpattia Oblast, a special gift was prepared for our heroes.
The head of the Siverska community presented the servicemen and women with fragrant holiday pies, baked with loving care by residents of both communities. Into every slice of this baked good, people poured not only the finest ingredients but also boundless love, the warmth of home, and sincere prayers for the lives of every defender.
This fragrant symbol of unity has once again proven that when the west and the east stand shoulder to shoulder, the Ukrainian nation cannot be broken. Our strength lies in unity; our faith lies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
