The Department of Family, Youth, and Public Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration is launching a temporary working group to prepare, develop, implement, and populate the “Ukrainian Donetsk Region” electronic calendar.
The impetus for creating the Calendar was an official appeal from prominent public figures, artists, historians, and veterans of Donetsk Oblast. The project’s goal is to collect, systematize, and preserve a substantial body of historical truth regarding Ukraine’s presence in Donetsk Oblast, which has not received the attention it deserves from society.
The “Ukrainian Donetsk Region” digital calendar will include information about the region’s deep-rooted history, the liberation movement, recent history, modern-day heroes, and the struggle for independence.
We invite representatives of civil society organizations, scholars, local historians, writers, cultural experts, journalists, and other interested and knowledgeable individuals to join the temporary working group to prepare the project, develop, implement, and provide content for the “Ukrainian Donetsk Region” digital calendar.
Nominations must be submitted by June 10, 2026, to the email address of the Department of Family, Youth, and Public Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration: [email protected]. The letter must include the candidate’s last name, first name, and patronymic; position or field of activity (academic degree, civic organization, etc.); and contact phone number.
