On September 3, the heads of the Service Provision Department, Olena Redko, and the Employment Programs Department, Oleh Klymovych, held a meeting with representatives of the Heart of Azovstal project — an initiative that brings together various areas of support for the Defenders of Mariupol.
Comprehensive assistance — from support in returning to peaceful life, medical and psychological rehabilitation, to development programs, sports, and protection of rights — covers not only service members but also their children, wives, husbands, parents, as well as widows and widowers.
During the meeting, representatives of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center presented the modern services and opportunities offered by the employment service, including:
vouchers for training and retraining;
professional development programs;
assistance in job search and career counseling;
grant opportunities for starting a business;
compensation programs for employers ready to hire veterans, people with disabilities, and their family members.
The Donetsk Regional Employment Service is open to cooperation with civic initiatives and supports the Defenders of Mariupol, their families, and the families of fallen Heroes. Employment, new skills, and entrepreneurship will become a foundation for their recovery and the building of a dignified future.
The meeting was an important step in strengthening partnerships aimed at providing effective support to those who paid the highest price for Ukraine’s freedom.
