SILab Ukraine, with the financial support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, will conduct a free four-day training course "Start Your Own Business" for women in Donetsk Oblast.
The initiative aims to provide women, including internally displaced persons, with the opportunity to acquire skills and resources to start their own business or expand/restore their business. Participants will receive theoretical knowledge and practical training from experienced mentors. There will also be an evening program for psychological relief and reflection.
During the training, participants will learn about:
- lean approach to business planning and launch;
- target audience research; market analysis;
- creating a minimum viable product;
- legal and tax aspects of entrepreneurial activity;
- financial modeling;
- preparation of a business plan;
- search for partners;
- attracting investments.
Who can participate:
- women from the Donetsk region, including women whose families have been affected by the military actions of Russia,
- IDP women from Donetsk region,
- wives of military personnel or veterans,
- women living in rural areas,
- representatives of vulnerable social groups.
The program will take place from September 25 to 28 in Kyiv. Travel, accommodation, and meals are covered by the organizers, SILab Ukraine reports.
