A sports festival was held in the village of Kropyvna, Zolotonosha District, Cherkasy Region, to mark All-Ukrainian Football Day.
The themed event was organized as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship among the younger generation.
The sports festival was organized by the Shakhivska community in collaboration with the Kropyvna village council of the Zolotonosha community.
The celebration program was packed with activities: children competed in speed during relay races and demonstrated their ball-handling skills in a soccer game.
A special part of the festival was the refreshments. The organizers made sure that every participant got a boost of energy: the children were treated to sweets and traditional field porridge cooked over an open fire.
Such events not only promote physical development but also give children a sense of unity and joy, even in difficult times. Thank you to the defenders of Ukraine for making it possible to hold such celebrations for our future!
