Persons who have the status of Honorary Donor of Ukraine are entitled to a pension supplement in the amount of 10 percent of the approved minimum subsistence level per person per month (Art. 21 of the Law of Ukraine dated 30.09.2020 No. 931-IX “On the safety and quality of donated blood and blood components” — https://t1p.de/0seus).
The status of Honorary Donor of Ukraine is granted to donors who have made a donation free of charge:
— blood in a total amount equal to 40 maximum permissible doses,
— or blood plasma in a total amount equal to 60 maximum permissible doses, collected by apheresis,
— or 40 maximum permissible doses of blood cells collected by apheresis (erythrocytes, thrombocytes, leukocytes)
regardless of when such donations were made.
Such persons are issued a certificate and awarded the “Honorary Donor of Ukraine” badge in accordance with the procedure approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine — https://t1p.de/fu64z. Citizens of Ukraine who have been awarded the “Honorary Donor of the USSR” badge are also entitled to the allowance.
To get the extra payments, you need to provide the following documents:
▫ application for the allowance;
▫ Ukrainian passport/identity document;
▫ taxpayer registration number (RNOCHP);
▫ documents confirming the award of the “Honorary Donor of Ukraine”/“Honorary Donor of the USSR” badge.
The document awarding the “Honorary Donor of Ukraine” badge can be added to the pension file in your personal account on the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal https://portal.pfu.gov.ua, https://t1p.de/l7ohl.
