My child will turn one year old on February 25, 2026. Will I receive the new monthly assistance of UAH 7,000 for January and February 2026?

👨👩👧👦 Families whose children were born in 2025 but have not yet reached one year of age as of January 1, 2026, are eligible for the new benefit.
🗓 From January 1, 2026, the childbirth allowance is increased.
🔰 This is stipulated by Law of Ukraine No. 4681-IX of November 5, 2025, which enters into force on January 1, 2026, “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Support for Families with Children and the Creation of Conditions That Facilitate the Combination of Parenthood with Professional Activity.”
💳 Payment period:
The UAH 7,000 payment is granted for the period until the child reaches one year of age. Since your child will celebrate their first birthday on February 25, they are considered under one year old throughout all of January and most of February 2026.
❗ Important:
The UAH 7,000 is paid in addition to the UAH 860 that was already assigned at the birth of the child in 2025.
📌 Therefore:
You will receive the full amount for January;
For February, the payment will be calculated proportionally up to February 25 (the child’s birthday).
