As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," a creative challenge called "East and West Together" was held among secondary schools in the Kostyantynivka and Uzhhorod municipal communities.
The aim of the event was to foster an understanding among students of the value of Ukrainian unity, awareness of the common history, culture, and future of the state, as well as to develop creative thinking and civic engagement among young people.
As part of the challenge, children created graphic motivators (motivational posters) in which they conveyed their own vision of the unity of eastern and western Ukraine through images, symbols, colors, and words. In their works, the participants depicted national symbols, a map of Ukraine, elements of traditional culture from different regions, as well as slogans about unity, mutual support, and the power of joint action.
The challenge became a vivid example of effective cooperation between communities, contributed to the establishment of interregional dialogue, and showed that children are capable of sincerely and creatively conveying the idea of unity and solidarity in Ukraine.
Carrying out such initiatives within the framework of the Side by Side: United Communities project is an important step towards strengthening partnerships between local communities and raising a generation for whom the unity of Ukraine is an unquestionable value.
