The vyshyvanka is not just a piece of clothing or a beautiful garment. It is the very genetic code of our nation, whose patterns weave together our history, culture, strength, and the indomitable Ukrainian spirit. It has long been our talisman, and today it has also become a symbol of our identity, uniting us across generations and distances.
From May 6 to 19, the Youth Council of the Siverska Community held an open online photo flash mob titled “The Vyshyvanka Unites.” This initiative took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” and brought together sincere people from different corners of our country around Ukrainian traditions.
Partner communities—Dubrynytsia-Maloberezna, Onokivka, and Olhopil—actively joined the unity marathon. In addition, residents of the Svativska community in Luhansk Oblast happily joined the open-format flash mob.
Today, May 21, on Vyshyvanka Day, the Siverska community is sharing the results of their collaborative creativity.
Remember: together we create a space of strength, traditions, and a united Ukrainian heart.
