During a working visit by a delegation from Donetsk Oblast to the Republic of Austria, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Vienna between the Siverska City Council of the Bakhmut District in Donetsk Oblast, the Dubrynytsia Village Council in Zakarpattia Oblast, and the city of Ollersdorf im Burgenland.

The signing of this document was made possible by the implementation of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”

Thanks to partner communities, Ukrainian municipalities have the opportunity to expand their international ties, build on existing contacts, and launch new areas of cooperation.

Austria has already provided refuge to approximately 94,000 Ukrainians. An important example of effective international cooperation was the opportunity for children from the Siverska community to spend their summer vacation in Austria this year.

For the Siverska City Military Administration, it is important that this partnership be long-term and that the agreements reached gradually evolve into concrete joint projects that will help our residents and support the Siverska community.

We are working together for the people, the development of our communities, and the future of Ukraine!
