Yuliia Kucheruk, winner of the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” contest in the “Knowledge Leaders” category
Yuliia Kucheruk is a physics and astronomy teacher, educational organizer and leader of the “Eco-Blogging” club. She sees education as the foundation of Ukraine’s intellectual future. Her professional mission is to create a modern educational environment where children not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking, technological literacy, leadership skills and a strong sense of national identity.
Yuliia received her education at Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University and Uman State Pedagogical University. She began her teaching career at Lyman Lyceum No. 2 and currently continues her work at Lyman Lyceum No. 5 and the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center.
A special part of her professional activity is the “Eco-Blogging” club, where students combine environmental education with modern media and digital tools. Another important area of her work is national and patriotic education through participation in the “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) All-Ukrainian Children’s and Youth Military-Patriotic Game.
Yuliia’s professional achievements and the successes of her students at international, national and regional competitions demonstrate the effectiveness of her educational approach. She believes that modern education should not simply prepare young people for the future — it should empower them to build an innovative, strong and independent Ukraine themselves.
