A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Members of the working group and invited guests participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants discussed the status of public procurement in 2026, specifically procurements planned and conducted by the region’s local communities.
According to the regional state administration’s Department of Economy, between August 18 and 27, 2026, regional contracting authorities in eight local communities have planned 25 procurements of goods, works, and services totaling 66.6 million UAH.
Of the 25 procurements, 11 contracts have already been signed. Among the items being procured are diesel fuel, gasoline, acetylene in cylinders, water-jet pipes, as well as services for the technical inspection of four residential buildings and routine repairs with technical supervision of a residential building damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression and located in Kramatorsk.
Separately, during the meeting, the issue of the status of procurement by the Siverska City Community in 2026 was discussed. Community representatives briefed the meeting participants on completed and planned procurements, the areas of budget spending, and the community’s priority needs.
Following the discussion, the need for strict adherence to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in the use of budget funds was emphasized.
The “Transparency and Accountability” Working Group will continue to monitor procurements being conducted and planned by local communities in Donetsk Oblast.
