The Siverska City Community in Donetsk Oblast is expanding its network of partners and launching a collaboration with the Avangardivska Settlement Community in Odesa Oblast.
As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, laying the foundation for systematic interaction, mutual support, and the implementation of joint initiatives.
For the Siverska community, which continues to overcome extremely difficult challenges amid a full-scale war, expanding intermunicipal partnerships is of particular importance. This presents an opportunity to pool the resources, experience, and efforts of communities from different regions of Ukraine to support people, strengthen resilience, and preserve the community’s potential.
The memorandum provides for the development of cooperation in areas important to residents: humanitarian and logistical support, social and psychological assistance, support for children and youth, the organization of educational, cultural, and sporting events, the promotion of volunteer initiatives, as well as support for war veterans, their family members, and internally displaced persons.
