As part of the project to preserve the cultural code and local identity of Donetsk region – the "East at Touch" project – a presentation was held of spaces created for displaced persons from Donetsk region at the IDP Support Centers of the Kramatorsk district MyRazom in Poltava and Dnipro.

During the meeting, participants familiarized themselves with a selection of books about their native Donetsk region and Ukraine, which will form the basis for the future work of the spaces. These publications will help maintain ties with their native land, preserve the memory of the region's culture and history, and create a shared environment for learning, dialogue, and creativity.

The "East at Your Fingertips" spaces are designed to bring displaced persons together, inspire them to search for and preserve their own stories, and create a place where the cultural identity of Donetsk Oblast will live on despite the distance.

The event was held as part of the SMARTA NGO's "Ambassadors of Peaceful Change" project with technical support from UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). However, this does not mean that the views and content expressed during the event are officially endorsed or recognized by the United Nations.

The UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is a flexible and responsive funding instrument that supports high-quality activities to enhance the capacity of local women to prevent conflict, respond to crises and emergencies, and seize key peacebuilding opportunities.
