The programme was launched on 1 January 2026 and enables people aged 40 and over to have their cardiovascular system, diabetes risk and mental health assessed free of charge.
As of 17 June, 126,000 Ukrainians had already undergone the screening, with a further 83,000 having applied for funding. The services are provided at 2,188 centres across the country.
Seventeen healthcare facilities in the Donetsk region have joined the programme. Some of them operate within the region, whilst others – having relocated – are now based in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv and Odesa regions, as well as in Kyiv. The Ocheretine and Toretsk primary care centres have organised mobile teams to serve residents of remote settlements.
We are continuing to expand the network so that as many of our people as possible can undergo screening — regardless of where they currently live.
