Despite today’s challenges, the Donetsk Regional Employment Service continues to help people realize their potential and support businesses every day.
Since the beginning of 2025, 16.8 thousand citizens have turned to the Donetsk Employment Service. Job seekers have received assistance with employment, career guidance, training, and more. From January to August this year, with the support of the Donetsk Regional Employment Service, 6.5 thousand job seekers found employment, while 8.3 thousand people were provided with temporary jobs.
To enhance competitiveness and accelerate adaptation in the labor market, 2,000 unemployed individuals underwent vocational training, retraining, or advanced training through the Employment Service. The employment rate after training reached 89.1%—a figure that places the Donetsk Regional Employment Service among the leaders nationwide.
In addition, 910 people received training vouchers, which allow them to master a new profession. Within the framework of a government project, 350 combatants and persons with disabilities completed professional training at State Employment Service training centers.
During this period, 1.8 thousand employers reported nearly 7.5 thousand vacancies. Thanks to active cooperation between the Employment Service and businesses, employers in Donetsk region received reimbursement for hiring 686 unemployed persons from specific population groups, including support for the establishment of 26 inclusive workplaces.
