


From September 1 to 7, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids’ emergency repair crews, with permission from the military, managed to repair a number of network damages and restore electricity to residents of 215 settlements. More than 82,000 families once again have access to electricity. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore supply in the frontline region as soon as the military and sappers allow.
Heavy fighting in the region continues, leading to constant blackouts in towns and villages of Donetsk region. Despite the danger, over the past week DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists managed to fully or partially restore electricity to 215 settlements. A total of 82,358 households have regained access to power.
Over the weekend alone, the energy workers managed to restore electricity to 1,100 households in 2 settlements.
Donetsk region remains the site of the most intense hostilities. Energy infrastructure continues to suffer damage due to constant shelling. Power engineers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission to carry out repairs from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
