Supporting employers during wartime remains one of the Employment Service's key priorities. Every successfully filled vacancy not only provides someone with a job but also helps businesses continue operating and contributes to the recovery of local communities.
One example is the Lyman Zelenbud Municipal Enterprise, which was forced to relocate to Sloviansk due to hostilities but has continued to operate steadily and expand its activities.
Svitlana Bondarieva, Head of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, held a working meeting with the company's staff, led by Director Oleksandr Borysov. They discussed the results of their cooperation and the opportunities the Employment Service offers employers to recruit staff and support their workforce.
In 2026, the enterprise submitted 15 vacancies to the Employment Service, including positions for a chief accountant, accountant, landscaping workers, warehouse clerk, driver, and tractor operator.
Specialists from the Sloviansk Office of the Kramatorsk Branch helped the employer recruit the necessary personnel. They identified 23 candidates, and 15 job seekers were referred for on-the-job training at the enterprise. As a result, all advertised vacancies were successfully filled.
"We strive to be more than just an intermediary between employers and job seekers—we aim to be a reliable partner that helps find effective solutions. This is especially important today, when businesses operate under extremely challenging conditions and need additional support," Svitlana Bondarieva said.
The enterprise also benefited from government support programs. After hiring a motor vehicle driver, it received wage cost compensation under Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 696 of September 8, 2015.
During the meeting, Employment Service representatives also presented current opportunities available to employers, including employee training programs, wage compensation initiatives, and new support tools such as the Point of Support and Experience Matters programs.
The Employment Service continues to support businesses in the Donetsk region by helping them recruit qualified specialists, preserve jobs, and create conditions for continued growth and development.
