Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” in the “Knowledge Leaders” category: Anna Ralenko
Ralenko is a teacher of English, Ukrainian language and literature, and world literature at Bilozerska General Education School No. 15. For over eleven years, she has been teaching children, combining modern educational approaches, creativity, and a commitment to helping each student reach their full potential.
She actively implements innovative teaching methods and digital technologies, and shares her own experience with colleagues at national and international conferences, forums, and professional events. Her teaching expertise has been recognized on numerous occasions with prestigious awards, including victories in the nationwide competitions “Teaching Excellence,” “Innovative Educator,” and “Creative Teacher – Gifted Student,” as well as in the regional project “Digital Donetsk Region.”
Another area of Anna’s work is volunteer-based educational initiatives. She has helped children overcome educational gaps through projects such as “Educational Soup,” as well as charitable programs run by the “Everything Will Be Okay—Ukraine” Foundation and Street Child Ukraine. She has also implemented a number of social projects in Bilozerske aimed at youth development, cultural enrichment, and the improvement of urban spaces.
Anna is actively involved in literary creation; she is a poet and songwriter, an editor of poetry collections, and a winner of national literary competitions. In 2026, her original song “I’m Walking Away from You and Back to You,” dedicated to her hometown of Bilozerske, received a special award at the “Pedagogical Pearls of Donetsk Region” festival.
Through her professional, civic, and creative activities, Anna Ralenko demonstrates that a modern teacher is not only a conduit of knowledge but also an inspiration who shapes Ukraine’s active, creative, and conscious youth.
