Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin met with Vadym Liakh, Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration.
The meeting focused on the evacuation of children, people with limited mobility, and residents of the areas of Sloviansk most heavily affected by Russian shelling. Filashkin stressed that there is no time to delay: every family must be informed about the risks and provided with evacuation assistance, transportation, and accommodation.
The officials also discussed the operation of healthcare facilities and social services, the community's preparedness for the autumn and winter season, and the readiness of the city's Points of Invincibility.
Special attention was given to preparing schools for the new academic year in an online format.
"Last year proved that despite the war, relocation, and constant air raid alerts, the students and teachers of the Donetsk region are capable of achieving outstanding results. We are proud of their knowledge, resilience, and accomplishments.
I thank Vadym Liakh and the entire community team for their dedicated work under constant danger—for ensuring that the city continues to function and that residents receive essential services.
Sloviansk remains one of the enemy's primary targets. Therefore, all services must act proactively, and every decision affecting people's safety must be implemented without delay," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
