The Soledar urban community of Donetsk Oblast has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Vyzyrska rural community of Odesa Oblast. The cooperation will continue within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities".
The memorandum is an important step towards establishing a partnership between the communities. It envisages mutual support, exchange of experience, implementation of joint initiatives and activities aimed at strengthening social cohesion, resilience, and recovery.
A Memorandum of Partnership was also signed between the Soledar community, the Vyzyr community and the Volunteer Center of Kramatorsk Charitable Foundation. This memorandum envisages the creation of a modern "Agro-Town" in the village of Kinne, where IDPs from the Soledar community will have not only housing, but also opportunities for work, education, social support and integration into the new community.
