The third (All-Ukrainian) stage of the All-Ukrainian Military-Patriotic Game for Children and Youth “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) has concluded in Zakarpattia.
Throughout the week, the best teams from all corners of Ukraine demonstrated their knowledge, endurance, team spirit, leadership qualities, and readiness to act in challenging situations.
This year, the Donetsk region was proudly represented by the “Haidamaky” team from Velykonovosilky Secondary School No. 2 (Grades 1–3).
The program for the final stage was packed and combined educational, training, and competitive activities. Participants tested their knowledge of Ukrainian history, tactical medicine skills, and orienteering; completed team tasks; honed their military-applied skills and drill training; and learned to work cohesively in conditions as close to real-life as possible.
Based on the competition results, the senior Plast members from Donetsk Oblast won second place in the “Tactical Medicine” competition, as well as third place in the “Vidun” intellectual quiz game and third place in the “Plast Member: Target Designation and Orienteering” competition.
An equally important part of the finals was the lively interaction among the participants. During non-competition hours, the Plast members took part in campfires and discussions, sports games and activities, got to know peers from different regions of Ukraine, exchanged experiences, and strengthened their friendships.
Olesya Chernoval and Viktor Pankov were presented with certificates of appreciation for their professional training of the team and their significant contribution to organizing the squad’s participation in the final stage of the competition.
