The seven-day XI Congress of Educators of Donetsk Region "Education of Donetsk Region: Synergy of Partnership and Sustainability Space" has started in Kyiv. The event is organized by the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Regional State Administration.

The purpose of the congress is to consolidate educators to discuss reforming the region's educational system, identify prospects and main vectors of education development in the current environment, share promising pedagogical experience, popularize innovative ideas, practices and educational technologies, and disseminate creative achievements of Donetsk region educators.

On August 18-19, the congress brought together more than 1900 educators from the region: teachers of science and mathematics; teachers implementing STEM approaches; practical psychologists; heads and teachers of preschools, general education institutions, and special education institutions; specialists from inclusive resource centers, foreign language and computer science teachers.

This year's thematic sections are "STEM and Cross-Curricular Integration", "IT Education 2025: Upgrade for a Computer Science Teacher", "Innovative Vectors of Teaching Biology in NUS", "Physics of the Future: Digital Solutions and AI in Your Classroom", "From Proven Methods to a Progressive Future: Creating educational content together", "Practical solutions: how to talk to parents and teach children with SEN online", "Psychological health and psychosocial support of the individual: priority areas of work in the face of change", and others.

The activities are held in the format of workshops, where innovative teachers share their experience, innovative teaching methods, and effective online tools to improve the educational process, and participants have the opportunity to actively interact, develop common ideas, and receive practical tools for further implementation in their educational institutions.

There are five more days of the congress ahead. We invite teachers to join the educational intensives, participate in professional discussions, share best practices and make effective decisions for the development of education in Donetsk region!
