Every day, employment service specialists support those who have lost their jobs, helping them find new opportunities, a new path, and a new calling

Published 07 January 2026 year, 09:55

Among them are Nataliia from Volnovakha and Oleksandr Romanov, an entrepreneur who relocated his business from Mariupol.

In her hometown, Nataliia worked at the Regional Service Center of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. She was planning her future, developing professionally, and building a career. But the war erased everything — her home, her job, and stability. After moving to Kyiv, Nataliia found herself without work and without a clear understanding of where to start.

In search of support, she turned to the Pokrovsk branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center. Together with a career advisor, they analyzed her work experience and strengths and outlined a new professional path. Nataliia was offered advanced training courses and an individual employment plan was developed — clear, step-by-step, and result-oriented.

Nataliia quickly regained confidence in her abilities and was ready to return to professional life.

At the same time, Oleksandr Romanov, who had run a driving school in Mariupol, was forced to temporarily suspend operations and relocate because of the war. Later, however, his driving school resumed work in Kyiv.

After restarting the business, there was a need for qualified staff. And thanks to the employment service, Oleksandr found a person who perfectly matched the needs of his enterprise. Nataliia was successfully employed as a manager — her experience, responsibility, and willingness to work became an important contribution to the business’s development.

Just a month later, Oleksandr submitted an application for compensation of expenses related to employing internally displaced persons under a fixed-term employment contract in accordance with Procedure No. 696. The basis for this support was precisely Nataliia’s employment.
