An online event brought together the teaching communities of the Andriivska and Berezivska communities in a touching and inspiring way. Despite the hundreds of kilometers separating these educational centers, they are united by a shared, unwavering love for their profession—the teaching profession.
The meeting was held as part of the "Side by Side: United Communities" project in the form of a teleconference on the symbolic theme: "33 reasons why I love the teaching profession." The event was a great opportunity for teachers to share what motivates them every day, what inspires them to choose and continue this difficult but extremely important work.
At the beginning of the teleconference, teachers were asked to share their source of inspiration on an interactive board. The thought-provoking question was: "What moments, achievements, or challenges make your work as a teacher truly special and inspiring?"
The outcome of this interactive activity was both expected and impressive. Teachers actively shared their profound thoughts, discussed common events, and rejoiced in their colleagues' successes. Most significantly, no two comments were alike. Each entry, each reason given, proved that every teacher is a unique and creative personality with their own unique experience and vision.
The meeting took place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, which encouraged sincere communication and the exchange of experiences.
The most important thing that this teleconference demonstrated is that educators from both communities are united not only by the 33 reasons for loving their profession, but by much more. It is the unity of true professionals who tirelessly continue to learn, improve, and inspire others, despite all the challenges of today.
Such professional communication is vital for maintaining morale and exchanging innovative approaches in education. It proves that geographical distance is not an obstacle when it comes to a common mission and a shared passion.
