Teachers and students at the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren have joined a noble cause—supporting Ukrainian soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the hospital in Kropyvnytskyi. For our heroes, the children and teachers created symbolic gifts with their own hands, filled with gratitude and care.
In the center’s creative workshop, genuine talismans were born: knitted hearts, patriotic bracelets, decorative birds, and motanka dolls—ancient Ukrainian symbols of protection and hope. The children included cards with each item, filled with warm words, faith in recovery, and our shared victory. Every little thing, created by children’s hands, carries the most important thing—sincere human warmth, which our defenders so desperately need during their recovery.
All the handmade gifts have already been delivered to the hospital. For the wounded soldiers, these small tokens of affection from the children of Donetsk Oblast serve as a reminder that they are remembered, awaited, and incredibly proud of. Our strength lies in our compassion, and every good deed done from the heart brings us closer to peace.
