A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Members of the working group and invited guests participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants discussed the status of public procurement in 2026, specifically procurements planned and conducted by the region’s local communities.
According to the regional state administration’s Department of Economy, between September 16 and 24, 2026, regional contracting authorities in 10 local communities have planned 12 procurements of goods and services totaling 7.8 million UAH.
Of the 12 procurements, three contracts have already been signed. The procurement items include electricity, OSB panels, and nails, as well as services to seal window and door openings and elevator shafts with OSB panels in multi-family residential buildings in the Kramatorsk territorial community that were damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression.
Separately, during the meeting, the issue of the status of procurements in 2026 by the Toretsk City Territorial Community was discussed.
According to information from the regional state administration’s Department of Economy, the Toretsk City Community has planned 24 procurements of goods and services with a total value of 19.5 million UAH for the period from January 1 to September 29, 2026.
Vasyl Chynchyk, head of the Toretsk City Military Administration, briefed meeting participants on the status of ongoing and planned procurements and answered questions from working group members.
Following the discussion, the need for strict adherence to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability during the planning and use of budget funds was emphasized.
The “Transparency and Accountability” working group will continue to monitor procurements being conducted and planned by local communities in the Donetsk region.
